Zia Eberhart is a recruit in the Military Organization protecting the walls from Titans.

Personality[]

Having lived with his mother and sister for many years without a father figure, Zia's behaviour isn't particularly masculine. He is gentle, caring and can often let his feelings get the better of him when witnessing unfair or horrible acts.

He is a quick learner and has an especially good head in intense situations, using thought and creativity during times where most people would lose focus and blindly follow instincts. Despite the skills he has developed, he lacks confidence and can be very nervous. However, he is beginning to believe in himself thanks to his friends and Drill Sergeant Dan Taylor's comments.

Appearance[]

Zia has slightly long but neat black hair and black eyes. Due to intense training he is extremely lean and muscular, however it is not noticable through his clothing due to having a small-ish frame. His looks are a blend of his father's (German blood-line) and his mother's (Persian blood-line).

Biography[]

Growing up in the Klorva district, Zia had a very ordinary life during his early childhood. His father was a painter by profession and a rather eccentric person who had quite an impact on Zia. His mother was his main source of stability, always there for him. She would sometimes spoil him, but brought him up with a good set of morals and an education.

He got on well with his younger sister Roya, who adored him and made him laugh. Zia is extremely protective of his sister, partly due to the absence of their father. Leaving her was one of the toughest aspects of joining the military.

When Zia was 7 years old, his father finally went outside of Wall Maria after coming back from a painting exhibition and feeling particularly inspired. He never returned...Zia's mother would always beg the Survey Corps for any news when they came back from missions, however there was absolutely nothing, nothing to prove whether he was alive or dead.

The Survey corps became a symbol of hope for Zia, the people who could potentially find his father. This led to him joining the military years later with the desire to graduate into the SC. After giving up on trying to persuade him otherwise, Zia's mother helped him prepare for this and put him through rigorous training in order to achieve his dreams.
