Alexander Herz is a recruit in the Military Organization protecting the walls from Titans.
Personality[]
Alexander is a passionate and honest person, with a strong sense of duty. He takes his role as a soldier very seriously, and encourages others to do the same. However, he is also noted to have a kind heart and a tendency to always think of others before himself, taking on extra burdens for the sake of his comrades.
Appearance[]
Alexander has short, blonde hair and intimidating grey eyes. Belying his rather average stature, his physique is well-developed and heavy with muscle from extensive 3DMG usage. He is most often seen in his military uniform.
Biography[]
Born in 834 to David and Flora Herz, Alexander Herz had a difficult childhood in the Trost District, his parents were poor, but worked everyday to give Alexander all that they could. Alexander had trouble with bullies at a young age, they treated him bad for coming from a poor family, this never made him back away from his dream of being part of the military organizations.
When the Shiganshina District was taken over by the Titans, the Trost District became the closest District to the breach in Wall Maria, thus the District that was most frequently attacked by Titans. This situation worried Alexander's parents, though, even if they wanted to move to another District or to Wall Sina, they wouldn't have the money to do so, so they started gathering money to move to Wall Sina, with the help of one of the few friends Alexander had, his parents were able to get steady job under that friend's father.
His teacher, in school, would talk with Alexander about the life outside the walls, which always greatly interested Alexander. With the outside world in mind, he would be present in all of the times that the Survey Corps passed through Trost to start an expedition. He usually talked with the Garrison guards stationed on the Trost District Wall, they always liked him and answered all the questions they could.
Eventually, Alexander started training hard for his military career, though, he knows that it is an uncertain career, his mother didn't like the idea, but his father supported him, with the exception of the Survey Corps, his father, David Herz, knew that organization has a high fatality and low success rate.
With luck, before the Trost District was attacked by the Colossal Titan, Alexander Herz and his parents were already inside Wall Sina, for two years, David and Flora gathered the required amount of money to buy a house in Mitras, where they now live safely. Alexander finally enlisted in the military force.
